Member of Granary Associates since 1978Michael has been a leader within Granary Associates since its inception in 1978 and has dedicated his career to meeting the needs of our clients through innovative, creative and cost effective design solutions that result in positive and inspiring built environments. He has led Granary Associates' international initiatives, focusing on expanding its world-wide presence as a leader in healthcare facility planning, design and project management services. Michael's participation on the Committee for The American Institute of Architects to re-evaluate, revise and reform the national design and construction criteria related to all healthcare facilities exemplifies his commitment to actively shaping the healthcare environment.

Collin L. Beers
Principal
Member of Granary Associates since 1985Collin has been involved exclusively in the practice of healthcare related facilities for over 22 years. This experience includes master planning, functional and space programming and conceptual design through complete construction documentation.
His dedication to perfecting the physical environments to support the constantly evolving practice of healthcare has made Collin an expert in the eyes of national healthcare design colleagues and our clients. Collin is involved with numerous professional organizations including the Association for the Care of Children's Health and the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health.

Daniel C. Bontempo

Member of Granary Associates since 1996Dan has over 20 years of professional experience in the area of construction and project management with extensive expertise in the management of educational and public sector projects. He's a member in many industry organizations, including the National Society of Professional Engineers and General Builders Contractors Association.

John J. Cummiskey

Member of Granary Associates since 1978As one of the founding principals of Granary Associates, Jack has played a major role in the growth of the firm's full service facility development consulting business. He has been instrumental in establishing Granary Associates significant presence in the industry, including leading the advancement of the organization in the New York marketplace. With over 30 years experience, Jack is a frequent speaker and panelist on real estate facility development issues related to institutional development.

James W. Eastwood

Member of Granary Associates since 1979As the former President of Granary Associates, Jim led the company through extraordinary growth and expansion, both in services provided and industries served. By emphasizing long-term client relationships and adding products and services to meet clients' changing needs, he built a strong reputation for Granary Associates which now operates on a national and international level. In his current role as Co-Chairman, he continues to collaborate with the Senior Leadership of the firm to address the issues of our clients as well as the expansion of all products and services.

Michael P. Hanna

Member of Granary Associates since 1997Mike has over 24 years of professional experience in the areas of administration, design and project management. He combines many years of architectural experience with his project management expertise to provide all of the necessary qualifications to oversee major facility projects. In addition, his background includes working within the Facilities Design %26 Construction Department at a major academic medical institution responsible for the implementation of all construction projects on four campus locations. As a principal within the organization, Mike represents Granary Associates at the highest levels of of client leadership.

Member of Granary Associates since 1995As a Project Executive with over 13 years of experience, Scott is the executive point of contact for all matters related to the design and construction of his project assignments. He leads all aspects of architectural design including master planning, schematic design, design documentation, construction documentation and construction administration ensure effective and timely communications of all relevant project issues to the entire project team.

Todd C. Kaufmann

Member of Granary Associates since 2000Todd is the executive point of contact for all matters related to the planning, design and construction on a number of the firm's high-profile projects. He provides project continuity through the preconstruction, construction and post construction phases of the various project components and across the project teams. He is also responsible for ensuring effective and timely communications of all relevant project issues. Todd's particular expertise is in the management of design and construction activities, as well as the value engineering effort.

Tasso has over 22 years of professional experience providing planning, programming and design services for healthcare facilities including ambulatory surgical, pediatric and women's, and rehabilitation for several major healthcare systems. In all engagements, he consistently demonstrates exemplary project-team performance and design leadership.

Having represented all lead parties involved on a construction project at one time or another, Michael is uniquely qualified to support our clients' project objectives. His recent experience has been exclusively healthcare and includes large-scale infrastructure, multi-phased renovations and new construction over existing buildings.

Member of Granary Associates since 2006With over 22 years of professional experience, Suha demonstrates a high skill level in design, design management and project management skills when applied to a multi-cultural resource group. Suha has been working in the Middle East region for most of her career, during which time she designed and managed a number of high profile, large scale public projects including convention centers and museums, as well as residential housing projects.

Hollis Madara, AIA, RN, BSN
Associate Principal
Member of Granary Associates since 2001Holly has over 15 years of experience in providing planning, programming and design services for healthcare facilities including projects such as ambulatory surgery facilities, women's and children's facilities, assisted living and long term care facilities, emergency departments and rehabilitation units. Holly is also a registered nurse having experience working in transitional care, rehabilitation, long-term care, medical/surgical, telemetry, step-down, ICU and emergency department environments. As a registered nurse Holly brings a "user" perspective to the functionally aspect of design and works closely with our clients as an interpreter for communication between the design team and the healthcare provider.

William F. Magness

Member of Granary Associates since 2002Bill's 25 year career reflects a diverse and multi-disciplined background including design, construction, project development, project management and the practice of law. During this time he has been responsible for projects totaling more than $2.0B in the healthcare, education, and institutional and commercial business sectors. Bill has also been instrumental in the continued development of Granary Associates project management systems. He works closely with the Senior Leadership of the organization to ensure that the contributions to our client relationships demonstrate that Granary Associates is a comprehensive source of experience and innovation in project management.

Charles S. Maggio

Member of Granary Associates since 1998Charles is a Project Executive with over 20 years of professional experience and is responsible for the coordination and management of large healthcare projects from the pre-design and development phase through the construction and occupancy of the facility. He has experience as a project manager as well as a practicing architect and a hospital facilities executive. His extensive knowledge of HUD FHA/board issued projects, as well as his recent experience co-authoring the latest revisions to the New York State Department of Health Construction Code make him uniquely qualified to address the needs of our clients.

He leads all aspects of architectural design including master planning, schematic design, design documentation, construction documentation and construction administration to ensure effective and timely communications of all relevant project issues to the entire project team. Chuck leads the firm's Building Technology Center of Excellence to create a collaborative environment for all technical staff that promotes continuing education and professional development.
